Alex Tagliani had been there to witness this action personally in his younger years, and now as an active racing driver. I remember being amazed how fast the cars really are. TV doesn’t really give you the sense of how fast they are, or how small the cars are. Long Beach will definately be a great race to be trackside.
One thing for certain is that Alex Tagliani will be one of the drivers to watch during the race. When a driver tells you that this is one of his favorite tracks to race on, and talks about how much fun it is for him to race on, then you know he isn’t worried about how well he’ll qualify or what to do to make his car go faster.
He already knows. After all, this is basically a ‘home town’ track and crowd for him. Just like when a football team plays at home, they have the backing of their fans motivation to encourage them to perform well.
